Updated information:
Anderberg is a stallion has superb bloodlines who stands
his first season in 2008, only 4 years old. He raced only three
times at 2 and trotted in 2:00.2f (14,8ak), taking both a third
and a fourth place in Pennsylvania Sire Stakes. In 2007 Anderberg
developed into a horse that could compete and perform well at
Grand Circuit level, despite the competition of horses like Donato
Hanover, Adrian Chip, Flirtin Man and Green Day. That he has shown
ability on European track size, an extremely important property
for a stallion that will be standing at stud in Europe, is accentuated
by him racing to fourth place in Yonkers Trot, where he was timed
in 1:56.4h (1.12,5ak on a 800m track). He proved his speed and
strength in the World Trotting Derby where he came third in 1:52m
(1.09,6ak). Anderberg was extraordinary consistent in his performance,
and despite the hard competition he was among the three best horses
ten times in his 16 starts at 2 and 3.
Anderberg's sire is Andover Hall, the stallion that in 2007 became
champion sire in North America with only two crops at the tracks.
To mention horses like Donato Hanover USD 2 998 777, Adrian Chip
SEK 7 939 303 and Pampered Princess USD 1 648 362 is enough to
understand the greatness of Andover Hall. Anderbergs maternal
line is among the best in the US, and sire of dam American Winner
is today one of the best broodmare sires in the world. Top horses
like Sand Vic USD 2 117 382 and Classic Photo USD 1 447 004 in
the US, plus Algiers Hall EUR 893 320 in Europe, confirms this.
Grandam is Me Maggie USD 743 350. She won 14 races at 2 and 3,
was named "3-year-old filly of the year" in the USA,
equalled the world record for 3-year-old filles on a five-eights
mile track (1000m track), won the Breeders Crown etc. Me Maggie
is dam of a.o. Dornello who made almost USD 200 000 as a 2-year-old
in 2007. She is also a sister to Lawn Tennis dam of one
of the best stallions in the world today, Credit Winner USD 1
495 295. |
