Express It is a brother
to the Swedish Elite Stallion Express Ride. They have another
six brothers that are stallions, and Express It is stationed
in Sweden since 2007 after an incredible start to his stud
career in Finland. His foals so far are not many, but they
are early, easy to handle and very tough racehorses. Their
properties make them Stakes winners in Finland, and they
have also shown good performances against tough competition
in other European countries.
Express It has a total of only 82 foals f.2001 - 2004 in
Finland. In his first crop he produced Arctic Express 2-16,7ak
4-12,8ak 5-12,0ak / EUR 387 383. He was a top perfomer already
at two, won all his three starts that year, and setting
a Finnish record. He later won the Finnish Breeders Crown
and the Finnish Sprintermästaren, and came second in
the trotting Criterum and Derby, beaten only by Passionate
Kemp. He was also a finalist in Grand Prix de I'UET and
is now one of the best horses in Finland. In his second
crop, Express It sired three of 12 finalists in the Finnish
Criterium 2005 - despite the crop only consisting of 23
foals! His son Expressionist 4-14,4ak / EUR 123 530 won,
Kurama Tengu 5-12,2ak / EUR 145 739 won the Finnish Breeders
Crown and the mare Vanessa Merett 5-14,0ak / EUR 70 145
has also shown great talent.
Express It produced only 12 foals in 2003, and even if the
number is very low, the stallion again sired one of the
best horses of it's crop in Europe. Express Merett 3-12,0ak
/ EUR 444 855 won a.o. the Gran Premio d'Europa (Gr.1) in
Milano and his elimination to the Grand Prix de I'UET in
October 2007. Another top horse of this crop is the daughter
Irene Merett 4-15,8am / EUR 51 790, who won a.o. the Finnish
Filly Criterium. |
