Power To Charm has a wonderful conformation and he combines
this with Grand Circuit performances in the USA at 2 and 3. His
oldest foals are 2-year-olds in 2007, and they have started their
campaigns in an impressive way. In 2008 Power To Charm is back
in Sweden by demand from the breeders there.
Already as a 2-year-old Power to Charm proved his talent by taking
4 victories in 9 starts, the first in the Historic Cup at The
Meadowlands in June, winning in 1:57:4m (1.13,2ak). At 3 he was
the favourite of the Hambletonian Stakes after three straight
wins in the Stanley Dancer Memorial elim. and final, and the elim.
to the Hambletonian. Unfortunately he was sick in the final, but
bounced back and came second in the Kentucky Futurity after winning
his elimination.
Power to Charm is one of only a few sons of Malabar Man standing
in Europe. Malabar Man was himself a fantastic racehorse, and
is one of the leading sires in North Americ and Europe. His offspring
are very popular in Europe as they generally have plenty of early
speed and very good conformation. Power to Charm is a full brother
to Super High Test and Exquisite Lady - both of them horses with
over SEK 1 mill in earnings. Power To Charm represents the fantastic
maternal line of Minnehaha via the Hambletonian Stakes winner
