Updated Information:
The full brothers Andover,
Angus and Conway Hall are dominating the trotting scene in North
America, and Triple Crown Winner Windsong's Legacy is Conway Hall's
best son to date. Add to this that the stallion has exceptional
conformation and great sales results of his first crop of yearlings
in 2007. In Harrisburg as much as USD 360 000 was paid for one
of his daughters!
Windsong's Legacy won in 1:57.2m (13,0ak) at 2, and he showed
his excellence when he at 3 became the first Triple Crown winner
since Super Bowl acchieved the same in 1972. Keep in mind that
Windsong's Legacy was born the same year as top horses like Cantab
Hall, Cash Hall and Tom Ridge - all of them stallions with full
books in the US today. Despite competition from these colts, Windsong's
Legacy managed to win the Triple Crown.
Windsong's Legacy is the next generation from the Garland Lobell
sire line. With his solid pedigree, that doesn't include any Valley
Victory blood, you can almost predict that Windsong's Legacy will
be the next generation top stallion in North America. This maternal
line already includes one of the best trotting stallions alive
today, Yankee Glide, in addition to TV Yankee (broodmare sire
of SJ's Caviar) and Yankee Bambino (grandsire of SJ's Photo).
